“Charming Place to stay in the heart of Zona Romantica!”

I have travelled many times to Puerto Vallarta over the last 20 years. Not until this past year did I discover Amapas Apartments! It truly is a gem, with the friendliest staff and ideal location. I have stayed twice in the last 3 months. My first visit I was met by Larisa right at the apartment as soon as I arrived via taxi. She welcomed me to the unit (1 Bedroom, King, with partial view) and gave me a short tour of the unit, and walked me through all of the accomodations/details.
The room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. It even had great views of the balcony to the iconic “pier”.
My entire trip the staff was helpful, engaged and prompt whenever I requested for additional towels, etc.
My second visit was just a few weeks back, and again, outstanding service. Both Larisa and Ivan were on-site during various times, and provided great service!
The location of this property is perfect. Just steps to the beach, surrounded by restaurants, cafes eve an Oxxo right on the corner below to pick up quick items.
I highly recommend this spot for both short stays, or even an extended stay. The kitchen is ideal for those that want to cook or keep a refrigerator stocked with basics it’s perfect. Rooms are clean, spacious and the Saturday cleaning was sufficient for my stay. It truly is like living in a free standing condo/apartment.
I look forward to my next visit in just a few months where I will reserve a 2 bedroom unit!

Absolutely Great Experience

Amapas Apartments is perfectly situated – steps from the beach, restaurants, and shops – yet private and quiet. Ivan, the manager, immediately and cheerfully responds to any questions or requests. The “pool” is really more of a dunking tub but the roof top terrace is great for lounging and sun bathing. We have twice stayed in the “king” room which is simply a bit larger and at the end of the hall but the regular rooms seem very similar. We don’t use the kitchen much but it’s a nice option to have – especially the full size refrigerator. Can’t wait to go back!
